Arunita Kanjilal was born on 18th January 2003, in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is a famous playback singer in the Indian film industry. At the age of 4, she started her training in Indian classical music. She came into the limelight after participating in one of India’s famous singing reality shows Indian Idol Season 12.

She completed her schooling at St. Xavier’s School, in Kolkata, India. Later, she went to the University of Kolkata to pursue Higher Education. She had a deep passion for learning music and her interest in Indian classical music made her superior to other competitors.
In the year 2013, she made her debut in the singing reality show Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs and ended up winning the show.
